Wireless Android Auto Aliexpress

Under the console, there are two USB ports: one for data only and the other for charging.

Wow, I hadn’t even noticed! I swear I was only connecting one hahaha

Well, I’ll check that this weekend then

No, look, the USB ports are: one in the console (next to the HDMI and the cigarette lighter), which is where the dongle has to go for it to work, and the other is in the armrest, but I don’t use that one because it’s only 1A and it’s a bit lousy for charging. Aside from that, the wireless charging pad, when using the dongle, barely manages to maintain the phone’s charge; it just gets it really hot, so I don’t use it. I put a 2-port USB adapter in the cigarette lighter socket and charge from there, or on a long trip I just unplug the dongle and plug a cable into the dongle’s port.
These are my allies:

Ahhh, that makes sense

Ok, I need to buy something for the cigarette lighter so I can keep the dongle in the port under the console and the charging cable in the lighter. Not bad at all. I already bought the cable, so I’m going to look into the cigarette lighter idea.

Thanks

This is the one you’re using, right? Thinking of grabbing it to see how it works for me.

But which of the two do you have? I see one is a little square one that’s cheaper and the other is a longer one, I don’t know which one is better lol and it doesn’t say compatible with Honda, does it work okay with it?

I have the long one; the other one didn’t exist when I bought mine. I guess both would work for you, but I couldn’t say for sure.

Alright, I picked up the one you told me about, let’s see how it goes and when it arrives hahaha, thanks a lot and I’ll keep you guys posted on how it goes.

I picked up the square one and it’s good too.

I’m sending you the link where we talked about this and they recommended one, which is the same one I bought. It’s working really well for me, honestly, I recommend you try it: Android Auto InalĆ”mbrico Aliexpress - nĀŗ 84 por Roccko

Mind you, you need at least Android 11. Other than that, it was just a matter of plugging it in, turning on Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, and it worked.
