Acquisition of sport plus. Which wheel do you recommend?

Hello! As I mentioned, I just bought a 2021 Sport Plus and it comes with standard wheels. Can you recommend any specific rims? I’m more interested in dimensions than the model and brand. And what tires would fit those rims? Thank you!

If you could even explain the reason for your choice, that would be fantastic!

I would go up to 18" with 235/40, which are also the ones listed in the technical sheet.

I don’t know the necessary ET by heart, but I’m sure someone here can tell you.

Thank you very much, let’s see if you can finish advising me here with more details, some model, and the ET you mentioned!

If you’re not going to install a larger brake kit, I would stick with 17 and look for lightness. With the same budget, you can buy better wheels in every way. Also, if you’re not going to install track-oriented tires (some only come in 18), the tires will be cheaper, so you can get good ones. With 235, you have more than enough grip, and the car won’t lose comfort because you won’t lower the profile (or it will become harder).

Regarding the ET, you can keep the stock one (you won’t displace it, worsening the response of the stock suspension), or, if you want, you can displace up to a maximum of 6-7 mm, which is within tolerance, improving cornering and practically having no negative effects.

Morrillu: you don’t need to have them bigger to have just as much fun…

Thank you very much! I’ll start looking for 17-inch rims and tires to see what I find!

It’s a large car with aggressive lines, and in my opinion, the standard size doesn’t quite fit, especially with the standard design (maybe with others it changes, but I doubt it). With a larger wheel, it looks like a different car, so if I were to change, I wouldn’t hesitate to increase (diameter, not section).
