Sway bars and braces etc from Type R to Sport Plus

Hey guys, I want to fit Type R braces to my Civic if possible, since they’re OEM parts from a performance model. I’ve heard the rear one is plug & play, and there’s a small front lower one that is too. My doubt is about the front one and its brackets, etc. Do you know anything about this? Thanks!

Quick question. Are your tail lights homologated? Do they have the E-9 mark on the lights? I was going to buy them myself, but I couldn’t find any with the E9 mark to pass the ITV. I bought others that do have the E-mark to stay legal. If yours have the E9, could you let me know or send the link to the shop where you bought them?

don tieso is @Morrillu, he’ll send you links to make your car stiffer!!!

No fucking clue hahaha they don’t say a word when they see the car at the inspection, they don’t even notice or just don’t pay attention, mind you I go to an inspection center run by friends.

I’ve already looked into it, thanks. Everything fits; the only thing is you obviously have to use the Type R bushings because of the diameter and their own bushing brackets. The only slightly special thing is that you have to fit 2018 Accord front end links, and since it wasn’t marketed here in Europe, it’s being a bit of a struggle, although Honda has already given me a price for them and they’re forty-something bucks each and… no… haha. I’m getting them online from the UK for 18 each.
\nthe only special thing is that you have to install 2018 Accord front end links\n\n
\n\nI think you’ve gotten yourself a bit mixed up. As far as I know, the end links that people buy from the Accord are the rear ones. You don’t need to change the front ones. Well, actually, you would need to install adjustable ones front and rear if you have springs and the car is lowered, but I don’t know if that’s the case.\n\nMorrillu: then, if we’re talking about chassis bracing… I’ve got a Master of the Universe degree.

The ones I bought do have them, but they’re stuck in sequential mode and even though I turn them off using the switches on each one, it does nothing. So I know it won’t pass the ITV because they do that animation sequence when they turn on. Anyway, check the light unit when you open the tailgate; it has a part number and also says E9 in a circle. Thanks for the reply.

The rears aren’t necessary, but for the fronts, I’m told you have to use Accord ones or else get adjustable aftermarket ones.

I repeat: NO

They are definitely needed for the rear, and I don’t think they are for the front based on what is said in the following link (but I haven’t verified it myself). If you were told yes for the front and no for the rear, you were told wrong. And if you read it that way, you also misunderstood.

For the front, let’s see where you’d fit this:
