Question about clutches

Hi everyone!

I’m getting a custom tune for my Civic soon and I’m going to install a few things beforehand so they can push it a bit further when they do it, but I have a few questions.

I’m looking for things that won’t get flagged during inspection, as it’s my daily driver and I don’t really feel like constantly swapping parts back and forth.

The usual stuff: intercooler, K&N drop-in filter, clutch.

I’ve been reading through plenty of posts on this forum and I saw the Rev6 FK8 retrofit.
Just so you know, I know zero about mechanics, but I know there are people here who really know their stuff, so:

Questions:
Is the retrofit just the flywheel?

Which clutch kit would be most recommended to go with the flywheel?

I’m going crazy looking at different websites; the prices vary a lot from one to another and I don’t really trust them, I’m not sure which ones are reliable.

Could you please post a link to the retrofit or the necessary parts from a reliable site?

(I know it’s not strictly necessary, but I want to add things little by little because I’ll probably put in a hybrid turbo or something similar in the future).

Thanks a lot in advance.

The flywheel so you can fit the OEM clutch or any compatible with the FK8 Type R…

Good results have only been seen with the retrofit or, as an alternative, the ACT street kit.

Post a link to a site where you find it and we’ll tell you… You need the flywheel, the bolts, the pressure plate, the disc, and the bearing. The best thing to do if you’re in doubt is to ask RV6 directly.

I went with the ACT Street because it was highly recommended, it was a bit cheaper, and overall I’m happy with it.
