Let’s summarize in this thread common issues, campaigns, and other things to keep in mind, both for people who want to buy a second-hand one and for those of us who have it and want to rule out any issues.
Front sensors that stopped working on winding or rainy roads. This was fixed with a software update. Other users have changed the front grille under warranty, if I’m not mistaken. - The rain sensor is erratic: it either doesn’t activate even if 12,000 liters fall or goes into turbo mode with just a sprinkle. The way to fix it is not to use the automatic mode.

The only problem in 90,000 km was that at 70,000 km, almost 2 years ago, both engine mounts broke. The left side of the engine and the right side of the gearbox (this one was almost without rubber). They replaced both under warranty, and I installed the Hardrace torque mount to see if it doesn’t happen again with the new ones.
That used to happen to me, well, and I think to everyone, and I think I’ve found the solution. It’s very simple, I always keep it in a more sensitive position or just the lower one and always connected. Then if I decide to change the sensitivity, don’t do it with a quick turn of the dial, do it leaving 1 or 2 seconds between changes.. doing that my wiper improved a lot.
I have the same version as you, a 2018 Sport Plus, and I don’t experience any of the issues you’re having.
It’s true that my tablet was much slower when I had Android and used Android Auto, but ever since I switched to a Samsung NOTE 10 (plus or pro… back then) and later even with Apple, it works wonderfully without Honda hack. It’s well known that the tablet’s hardware isn’t cutting-edge, but from what I’ve observed, and always speaking about external systems like AA/ACP, the response varies greatly depending on the type of device used.
The roof doesn’t make any noise, nor have I had it maintained. I think during a check-up they applied some grease, but as I said, no noise at all. Is the noise when opening/closing it, or are you referring to creaks around the roof area? Regarding the latter, it’s more difficult; there are reported cases from other similar users and the solution they could apply (to a greater or lesser extent).
As for the air conditioning, it’s known that there’s a technical note. However, in my case, it doesn’t take long to cool down. Obviously, the cabin has a temperature and takes time to lower, that’s obvious, but the air works. Have you checked if your air conditioning is affected by the technical note?
My tablet used to fail a lot with the GPS regardless of the phone, I use a Samsung S25, previously an S24 and before that the S10+, so it’s not like I was using low-capability phones. It’s true that 99% of the problems were solved when I updated the firmware on the tablet, but that doesn’t prevent the tablet from occasionally freezing and suddenly doing a quick restart.
As for the sunroof, it comes from some part of the mechanism, because initially it would creak when the asphalt was a bit uneven, but that was solved by applying a specific liquid to hydrate the rubber seals (I did it according to the bulletin about the sunroof), but sometimes, in the rear part of the roof (the one that makes some noise when closing it completely), there is a piece that must be a bit loose or have some play because a rattle appears that disappears when reopening and closing the roof. As I said, I have done maintenance on the rubber seals, and I plan to take it to a sunroof specialist to have the guides cleaned and new sliding paste applied because doing it yourself is a pain (and while I’m at it, they can tell me if they see any part that isn’t as it should be or if it needs adjustment).
The air conditioning works well for me under normal conditions, I don’t have problems with it not blowing cold air on the driver’s side or anything like that, I change the cabin filter every year so it’s not an issue of it getting clogged. But if I happen to have a day where, due to travel or whatever, the car has been in direct sunlight for a while, I can set it to LO and it takes about 15 minutes to start cooling. Luckily, I rarely have it in the sun because otherwise, I’d go crazy.
I don’t have any pending campaigns on the Honda website, although being from 2018, I suppose the fuel pump campaign will come up someday.
The mip is a 1.0 and the same thing happens to it. Just yesterday I experienced it, it showed 48° and when I got home after 25 minutes it showed 38°. Yes, it cooled down a bit, but with the windows fully open for 5 minutes it dropped to 40°, and then the other 20 minutes fully closed and that’s it.
