Vehicle Technical Sheet

Hello forum members!!! I have a Honda Civic Type R Carbon White FL5 and I would like to ask you a question: In the car’s documents, on the technical sheet, does the spoiler, exhaust, etc., appear anywhere as Homologation? In my case, it only shows alternative track width along with other wheel and tinted glass measurements!!! I hadn’t noticed until now and given the state of the inspections… Best regards and thank you.

Well, I imagine that having the car in its original condition with the chassis number there won’t be any problems. Each of those parts will also have its serial number, approval, etc… at the very least, they should be able to distinguish the original parts from those that aren’t.

It also depends on the person you get…

Hello, I would be surprised if you had problems with the car being original. (truly original, not like the typical entry-level VAG BMW with RS, M, etc. finish parts.) On the other hand, for the FK8 in the section of options included in the homologation, neither. But if you ever have problems, which you shouldn’t, tell the technician to check it or the station manager to look at the reduced file (the papers the manufacturer has to present to homologate the car) it shows practically everything it comes with and almost always a sketch of the car. Another thing is if it were a lower model, where there is always some spoiler or addition requested afterward, those do tend to have more problems because they don’t know if it came like that from the factory or if they added it later.

For example (FK8) you might need to zoom in to see the parts well.

In comparison with the (FK7)

If you have any more questions, ask. I hope this is more helpful than telling you that if it happened to me, I would go into silverback gorilla mode in heat, or the star phrase of a complaint form, being able to make them look like useless just by telling them to check the reduced file.

Thank you so much for your responses!!! This is the first time I have a vehicle with Racing parts and I didn’t know if they had to appear on the papers!!! Initially, the few times I’ve been stopped at checkpoints, they’ve only looked at the car because it’s eye-catching but without any issues!! And let’s hope it stays that way!!!
