Google Maps not showing signs on the dashboard

The directions appear on the cluster in the navigation submenu, if I remember correctly, although Waze didn’t display them right for me; it would always show a U-turn at roundabouts. Now with Honda Hack, when I use the nav, I mirror the screen onto the cluster and see the map there; even if it’s a bit small, it works better than just the turn-by-turn directions.

Yes, I mean seeing the directions, arrows, and so on on the dashboard where the speedometer is, behind the steering wheel. It was visible until a few weeks ago, but not anymore.

It’s true that Waze still shows up on the dashboard today, but when a roundabout comes up it glitches—you get a circle with an arrow telling you to turn around, and it’s a bug that Waze hasn’t fixed. Google Maps used to show up for me too, but not anymore. By the way, how do you do that hack you mentioned? What are the advantages of installing it? I don’t know anything about it.

That’s so weird, I use an iPhone, and I can confirm that indicators have never appeared for me when using Waze or Google Maps.

That’s weird. So only the car’s own show up for you, the Garmin.

Thank you very much. I’ll read up on it; I might be interested in installing it.

I just saw the new Google Maps update from March 13th, and it hasn’t fixed the problem either. It’s been broken for two months or more now. I see they’re releasing plenty of updates, but they aren’t fixing this. They’re probably ignoring the issue, which I don’t like.
