Hello, I have a question. My air conditioner stopped cooling. I recharged it, and everything returned to normal, cooling well. I left it parked in the garage, and I haven’t driven it since I recharged it. I go to work by motorcycle. After a month, I used it and it doesn’t cool. The compressor doesn’t start because it doesn’t recognize that there is gas. I’ve seen campaigns for air conditioner radiator capacitors. Next week, I’m installing a capacitor and radiator. I called Honda Spain, giving them the chassis number, and my car is not affected. So, I have to do it on my own. Thank you for your cooperation. THANK YOU.
You’re confusing things; by VIN number, there is no match for the air conditioning for any car. You would need to take it to Honda and have them verify where the problem is coming from. There are campaigns for leaks on one side in the condenser and another for the compressor shaft. If this is your case and you’re lucky, they might cover the repair because these are faults recognized by the brand. They also usually require that you have been doing the maintenance when due, as recorded in the service book. If your air conditioning problem comes from another part, or is caused by the impact of a small stone in the a/c circuit, they will not cover it.
If you’ve already charged it and it has leaked again as you mentioned in the other topic, the leak might also be in the evaporator. First, I would inject fluorescent dye to see where it shows up before starting to change parts randomly.
