Good morning. About 6 months ago, while trying to park, the driver waiting behind me informed me that I didn’t have rear lights. By tapping on the headlight, they turned on. Since the car was still under warranty, I took it to the workshop. They told me that it was very unusual, but I presented a video and they agreed to look at it. They offered to change the bulbs. By the way, the bulb price was about €11. I thought it was a rip-off and bought two LED bulbs for less than €2 from Temu. I changed the bulbs and up until today. I’m writing here to share the experience and help. I’m sharing photos of the necessary tools and how the rear lights look disassembled. There are two metal screws and two plastic ones that are pressure-fitted. I hope it helps.

Regarding the 11€ heist, wait a few months and when they burn out or start flickering again. You’ll understand that the bulbs are economical due to reliability issues. If they are easy to change, you can keep buying cheap ones until you get lucky and find some that last. But if, on the other hand, you get tired, you can get the 11€ ones that probably only have a 2% failure rate and forget about it for a few years.

The problem is that they don’t fuse. They were poorly connected because when I hit the beacon, they started working. So far, I haven’t had any issues with the Temu bulbs; they also illuminate a lot, and it’s much easier to see when I park the car in the garage.
