Wireless Android Auto Aliexpress

Is the device working for you?

For me, there has been no way to connect for a few days. But not only that, it also doesn’t connect via cable. The phone starts charging but Android Auto doesn’t start.

I’ve tried clearing data, restarting, updating everything, and nothing… I’ll try with another cable, although it’s the one I’ve used and it has worked for me until now.

I have a trip soon and it really bothers me not being able to use Maps :downcast_face_with_sweat::downcast_face_with_sweat:

I keep using mine without any issues, do the usual, restart the tablet, restart the phone (After some app updates or similar, it stopped connecting for me and restarting the phone solved it)

In the end, I decided to try with another phone and it detected it, so the problem is with mine.

Edit: after connecting the other one, I tried again with mine without doing anything else, and now it detected it, curious

That’s why I trust a cable more than a “damn” wireless connection… word of a computer scientist…

Ironically, it works better for those of us with the wireless adapter, as cables tend to be prone to movement and disconnections.

I’m debating between setting up a HondaHack (sorry, I’m sure that’s not how it’s said) or installing a wireless adapter with its applications and such… I understand both can be done independently because there will be things you can’t do with one and vice versa. But is it worth having both? And if not, which one would be more worthwhile?

Well, there are some disconnections, but since I bought the 90º elbow cable, they are minimal. At least I don’t have to keep restarting every time the wireless connection fails (restarting the wireless connector, restarting the tablet, restarting the mobile, restarting the car… any day now I’ll restart myself… ). I don’t understand, what do you mean by restarting? Sometimes mine disconnects but it takes 5 seconds to reconnect on its own.

It was a way of speaking… I don’t have Wireless Android Auto, but from my experience with all these types of devices (for example, the Chromecast), when it crashes at home, I have to restart the Chromecast itself, the router, the tablet, the mobile, and if I could, the TV too!! PS: sometimes I also have to ‘restart’ myself to avoid throwing everything away out of frustration…

Oh no no, in this case not at all, I am very happy.

No, both wireless and wired were failing for me, but it was clearly an issue with some configuration on my phone.

With the wireless device I have, once connected, it has never given me problems with disconnections or slowdowns or anything similar. I must say the same for the cable. Both work exactly the same.
